staticDHCPd 2.0.0-beta-1

It’s out.

I still need to revise all of the comments/inline documentation before I’ll be ready to call it a release-candidate, but I don’t anticipate adding any features or making any significant code-changes before that.

Head to GoogleCode and grab a copy. Play with it and report any issues.

In the meantime, here’s what the stats module provides:

Yay, stats!
Yay, stats!

    Hello,
First of all I must state I’m glad someone is developing a dhcp-server with cool features; at a former assignment I was a happy camper with Nominum DCS and now I’m looking for DHCP-servers which offer similar flexibility like assigning options to clients on an object basis (where sets of options can apply to either clients, pools, networks, or serverwide) and where offcourse these sets can be altered afterwards. I’m still unsure of the features of your staticDhcpd and if you’re still developing your dhcpdaemon.
    regards,

      Hey, Leon.

Yes, I’m still developing this project (beta release 3 was just published). Unfortunately, I get hit by heavy workloads from time to time and then it takes a while to get back to project-work.

If you run into any problems or if there’s anything you’d like to see added, please feel free to submit a request in the ‘issues’ section of the Google Code site. I go through those whenever I have time, and I still want to get 2.0.0 into a stable state soon.
